I’m Not Your Everyday Marketer

Based on my social media presence, it may not be a debilitating shock to know that I don’t conform to the conventional corporate stereotype in the business environment. However, please don’t misconstrue my unconventional approach to marketing myself as whimsical. It’s all brand marketing in the end, and I’ve found that my witty strategy tends to increase reader engagement and come across as more relatable than the monotone approach. 

If I’m willing to split-test different messaging tones for my blog, imagine what I can do for businesses all over the world? Fortunately enough, I’ve been able to execute a plethora of marketing campaigns for all types of companies, ranging from small startups and mom & pop shops to fortune 500 companies and massive retailers. My data-driven approach to digital marketing extends into traditional advertising campaigns, helping brands bridge the difficulties in tracking conversion offline using a variety of tracking platforms.

I have spent my career thus far honing my skills and developing my craft to create multi-channel marketing strategies that focus on delivering a high ROI for clients. In addition to the traditional agency world, I have mastered the performance marketing ecosystem, including extensive experience in analytical problem solving and exploring new opportunities for product innovation.

My Awesome Background

My extensive experience began as an entry-level marketing analyst with Rank Media Agency. My career started as an exuberant marketing student excited to absorb as much knowledge as possible in a burgeoning field. After developing a kinship with the CEO (also my mentor), I was able to help build Rank Media Agency into the premier boutique firm it has become, delivering high-level marketing & branding services in the Montreal area. In addition to conceiving the SEO, media buying, and social media marketing teams, my favourite aspect of being a leader at Rank Media was teaching employees and interns about the inner workings of online marketing.

My inclination to accept new challenges and forge new paths led me to a role with Plus Company to build their performance marketing solutions. I was also fortunate to consult on a myriad of SEO & performance marketing projects for leading brands such as Sun Life Financial, Toyota, Telus, Aviva, Empire Today, and Vivint.

Now? I am thrilled to state that I’m part of the Moz organization as the VP of Revenue.

Coordinating with some of the brightest minds in the marketing world is a delight, opening me to new avenues I’ve never encountered. I am continuously striving to innovate and educate the masses about the intricacies of lead generation while at the same time honing my skills to disrupt the traditional preconceptions of marketing in different niches. With a renewed fire and desire to create something unique, I am collaborating with North America’s most adept minds. I wasn’t lying when I stated that marketing is more of a hobby than a profession.

In addition to my daily digital marketing duties (alliteration intended), I’ve had the pleasure of being invited to speak in front of both students and business professionals. My enthusiasm for teaching and imparting my knowledge about digital marketing is perfectly demonstrated by how much I can talk about a particular subject before finally taking a brief reprieve.

On a serious note, I am willing to lend my expertise or collaborate with any marketing professional to create new content or be invited to speak at a conference.
